Wednesday Weigh-in 5/23/12
Last Week: 186.2
This Week: 185.4
Total Loss: 0.8
Yay! Another pound! (well almost). I love this whole losing a pound a week thing. So much better than stupid plateaus. My challenge has been going good. This is week 3. I went to the gym Monday and Tuesday. I didn’t get to go today though because I was at work from 10am-10:30pm and they close at 11. Sad face. I have tomorrow off though and I want to try to get into the Zumba class. I’ve been wanting to try that out.
Weekly Review and Challenge Update
This week of my challenge didn’t go as well as last week. I still did pretty good though. I only made it to the gym four days this week. Every day I went though I gave it my all. Friday I did new circuit workouts with my mom. She hired her personal trainer friend who showed her how to do them all and she showed them to me. It was intense and I already started to get sore that day. I guess my little weekend break from the gym is much-needed. I wanted to go today but the gym closes earlier on the weekend and I was super pooped when I got off work. I did, however, have 11 clients so I was hustlin’ around quite a bit and probably burned some calories.
Eating went pretty good. I had my free day on Wednesday instead of Sunday like last week. I had Chinese food for lunch. Other than that I still did pretty good that day with my other meals. i had a little bit of dark chocolate here and there, but that’s good for you.
I also hit my 50 followers mark this week. Okay really it was 51. That makes me super happy! I’m so glad that 51 people want to follow my weight loss journey. Thanks!

The Sexy Day Challenge
I joined the Sexy Day Challenge a week or two ago. If you don’t know what the Sexy Day Challenge is, please go here: http://yourtruthdiet.wordpress.com/2012/04/27/the-sexy-day-challenge-im-sexy-and-i-know-it/. I got this challenge from http://yourtruthdiet.wordpress.com/. Here are the rules:
THE SEXY DAY CHALLENGE
Rule 1: Accept this challenge by posting ” I’m Sexy and I know It (Your Blog Name)” as a comment for this post.
Rule 2: Pick a Sexy Day for each month until December 2012.
Rule 3: Decide what you will do for an entire HOUR, what you would like to celebrate/acknowledge about yourself. How will you carry it out?
Rule 4: Stand butt-bald-naked in front of a mirror the morning of your Sexy Day and repeat after me: “I AM BEAUTIFUL, I AM STRONG, I AM DESERVING, I AM WORTH THE INVESTMENT, and I’M SEXY and I KNOW IT.” (If this doesn’t motivate you then nothing else will….just joking. Say whatever makes you feel empowered and confident.)
Rule 5: Take a picture of you on your Sexy Day and post it on your blog along with a short description about what you are celebrating, what you did, and how you feel.
My Sexy Day was on Monday and Tuesday. I kind of spread it out a bit. On Monday I decided to wear my tight bike shorts to the gym to work out. I felt super sexy strutting around in them, lifting some weights. On Tuesday, my sister and I went to Salt Springs to do some swimming. Before we got there we had to stop at the store to buy some stuff. Well I walked into the store wearing my bathing with only a tank top over it. Usually if I’m going into a store with my bathing suit on I wear a t-shirt over it so no one sees my flabby arms. Not this time! I wore that tank top with pride. I didn’t feel self-conscious. Maybe a little trashy though. I don’t know why. Hmm.
Well there you have it, my Sexy Day report. You should join the Sexy Day Challenge as well. Just click one of the links above. (Sorry for the ghetto links. I haven’t figured out how to make them look nice yet.)
Weigh-In Wednesday 5/16/12
Last Week: 187.4
This Week: 186.2
Total Loss: 1.2
I’ve been doing good on my challenge this past week and a half. I’ve been eating better and not cheating. I’ve been going to the gym.
I did tweak my challenge a bit. Instead of a 30 day challenge it’s a 4 week challenge. That seems more realistic to me. The rules have changed a bit too. I still have to follow my eating plan without cheating, but I get one free day a week. Same with the exercising, I get one free day a week. That way it will be a bit more realistic. That’s what I did last week, I exercised and followed my eating plan 6 days a week. Mother’s Day was my free day. I started back again Monday. It’s been working because I lost little over a pound! yay! I’m also 1.2 pounds away from my next goal.
This new challenge may not seem like a challenge to you, but it’s definitely a challenge for me.
