Whilst I was away I received Two blog awards from Peonut. I feel so special! I’ve never been nominated for an award like this before. I feel like the popular kid at school. Finally!
This is what I have to do for receiving these awards.
1. Display the award logo somewhere on the blog.
2. Link back to the blog of the person who nominated you.
3. State 7 things about yourself.
4. Nominate 15 other bloggers for the award and provide links to their blogs.
5. Notify those bloggers that they have been nominated and of the award’s requirements.
7 things about me:
1. I was named after the mermaid in the movie “Splash” starring Tom Hanks and Daryl Hannah.
2. I love being barefoot and if the world were a cleaner place I’d go everywhere without shoes.
3. Organizing is a favorite hobby of mine. It’s quite therapeutic. I’m always re-organizing my room. I once thought of becoming a professional organizer. I still think about it.
4. My life goal is to travel the world. I think about giving away all my stuff and living out of a suitcase in order to do so.
Who decided 7 was a good number of things to list about myself?
5. I’m a huge Harry Potter fan and regret nothing. I didn’t have many friends growing up so I turned to HP. I grew up with those books and movies. I got the first book when I was 12 years old.
6. I’m a cat person. They are independent, crap in a box and love to cuddle. What more could you ask for in a pet? I like dogs too though. Small ones. And only if they belong to someone else. They’re too needy.

7. I’m an artist. I love drawing and painting though I will admit that I haven’t done much of it in a while Ima get on that. I mostly draw/paint for myself. I don’t like selling my work because I become too attached to it. Haha.
